Caption: Did you know the New Yorker posts all its memees on Twitter and on its site? Memes? Yeah, you know, memes. Where they take an image and put a caption over it. The combination of image and caption makes it funny. My generation invented meme culture. I think you're describing cartoons. The other day, I came across a video of Harvard professor Cornell West dancing with his students. HOJ. He was really good at it. It was cute watching a Boomer try to co-opt my generation's movement culture. I do with the New Yorker and Cornell West would bne more original, though. Millennials are an interesting bunch. Was that snark, Boomer? Keep that up and I'll make sure you get ratioed on Twitter.

Caption: Did you see Trump's speech at CPAC last week? Nah, bruh. You catch the Cornel West vs. Diamond and Silk debate on reparations? Where was that? Youtube? Cable news? Twitch? Facebook? Instagram? Periscope? Vimeo? Streamshark? Ustream? Netflix? Broadcast tv. Oh. No, I'm still trying to figure out how to stream that.

Caption: Lemont … I've been thinking about your theory that The Eye of Africa is actually the lost city of Atlantis. I checked it out on Google Earth. Not only is it exactly as Plato described it, but all the sand in the Sahara to its west looks like it was pushed toward Atlantis by some ancient cataclysm. And that could've been the impassable barrier of mud he mentioned that cut voyagers off from the sea. Problem is, the whole thing is 485 meters above sea level. Details.

Caption: North Korea sent a desperate letter to the western world last week. They urged the west to rein in Trump. They seemed to feel like they're backed into a corner, they're hurt, and they're about to be attacked. And you know what they say about backing a wounded animal into a corner. They say "corner that punk. Show it who boss." They say "don't do it."

Caption: 2016 turned out to be our best year in recorded history. Well … American history, anyway. We still have a ways to go before we match what the German branch did back in the '30s. Fear, Inc. But still … we convinced half the country that savages were either coming to kill them or take their jobs. And we convinced the other half that most of the country is racist and hateful. We also got Kanye West to completely flip out onstage. I'm proud of that one. Fear, Inc.

Caption: Scuse me, you know how to get to west 73rd street. Yeah. Take the 409 east to Slauson, go straight past that fool Dwayne on the corner … Hang a left, another left … two more lefts … … Get back on the 409 west, exit on Florence, go two blocks and you're there. Need me to write that down? Y'know, it's okay to say "I don't know." (This cartoon was originally published on 2012-12-16).

Caption: It's so easy to just say they're all nuts, but what's YOUR brilliant solution to the Israeli-Palestinian conflict? Remember the east coast-west coast rap war from the 90's? Remember how Biggie an' Tupac mommas hugged each other an' told both sides to cut that #$%&@ out? It's ok to admit you don't have a solution, Clyde. Ain't nothin' a million mommas huggin' it out can't fix.

Caption: I had the weirdest dream last night, Clyde. I dreamt I was on a subway train with Nelson Mandela. The train flew into space, then into … the great unknown. And the whole time … … all we talked about was Kanye West saying he was going to be "the next Mandela." I told Mandela Kanye never said that, it was all an internet lie. Then we ate corn nuts. Well it was a good lie so that make it the truth.

Caption: I don't see why we have to pay taxes. Imagine walking up to a cowboy in the old west and saying "Give me 30% of your beef jerky." He'd say "Them's fightin' words, varmint. Draw!" Cowboys didn't wait on public sidewalks for public buses. I'm keeping my jerky!

Caption: If you really Lemont from the future, tell me somethin' important. All right. Democrats wimp out, we don't get universal health care … … So a million or so Americans will die prematurely over the next 60 years. One of 'em, ironically, was close to discovering the cure for death. I said important, @#$%! (Sigh) ... In 2015, there'll be a big budget "Gilligan's Island" movie starring Wesley Snipes and Tom Hanks. Now we talkin'. I was hoping my memories of you were distorted by the senility. Will Kanye ever stop bein' a punk-@#$?

Caption: I'm the product of a broken home… …but I grew up watching "The Cosby Show," and it was almost like I was part of that perfect family. I grew up a loner, but I watched 'A Different World,' and it was almost like I had lots of cool friends. My government grew corrupt and cynical, but I watched "The West Wing," and it was almost like I had honest leaders who looked out for me. 9/11 scared me, but I watched "24" and felt safe from terror. I see. You're afraid your entire world is an illusion? ...And I don't know what to watch for that.

Caption: Tsk. I think I know why my career as a gangsta rapper ain't took off yet, Big L. 'cause everyone's tired, tired, tired of tracks about murder, misogyny and nonsense. Nah. 's'cause nobody hates me. I'm like Vader without Luke. Kanye without 50 cent. Barack without Obama. Wait. Back up. I'm holdin' "nemesis" auditions at four thirty.

Caption: Hey, Lemont, I --. Hold on, I've decided real life should be more like a Myspace page. As soon as you visit me, you'll hear loud music against your will. It'll say everything about me. It's like my theme song. I feel pretty, oh so pretty, I feel pretty, and witty. And-- (Click). Um... wrong track. I'll leave you to your brilliant social commentary.

Caption: I'm Elmer Humbug, from the heartland. I can't stand those east coast lib'ral elites an' their uppity east coast values. I can't stand those west coast elites an' their elite Hollywood values, either. That all jus' think they're so darn elite. Unlike them, I'm a real American, with real American values, salt o' the earth, I tell you. That makes me better than them. That makes me superior to ta them. That make me ... oh, what's the word? Elite?

Caption: I'm tired of liberals bashing Bush for every little thing. Take the coal miners who died, for instance. Just because Bush, adjusting for inflation, cut funding for the mine safety and health administration by $4.9 million and just 'cause those cuts resulted in the loss of 170 jobs at MSHA and just because Bush cut funding for programs aimed at mitigating entrapment deaths some loony liberals think he was somehow partly to blame for what happened.
