Caption: 1982. What'll life be like when we're 40? It'll be the 21st century, Susan. We'll have achieved all sorts of things. There won't be any more poverty. Little kids won't have to go hungry. Russia won't be such a poopyhead. The cold war will be over. We'll either all be friends because we're just so tired of being enemies, or we'll all be radioactive mutants. Either way, it'll be really cool. Momma says there won't be any more Vietnams because we learned our lesson ... Whatever that means.

Caption: Oral report. "If I ruled the world." If I rule the world, first I'd fix disease and hungerlessness. Children shouldn't go to bed and wonder if they'll get rice or sick. I'd also end cancer with other types of death. I'd end the war in Iranistan by making everyone drop their guns and bombs. I'd bring home our boys because there aren't enough as it is. I'd give free health so getting sick doesn't cost an arm and a leg. Also gyms would be free to get fit as a country, and it reduces stress which is well known to doctors. I'd make schools have subjects like hair and makeup that are useful instead of pointless like history - and boring. With more fun and many more social events to improve everyone's self steam! The world can be perfect! It just takes a ruler who can make the hard choices - like me! Wow. I don't know whether to laugh, cry or applaud.

Caption: And the good book says "Blessed are the poor, for yours is the kingdom of God." Luke 6:20. But more blessed are the rich, for theirs is everything else. "Blessed are the meek, for they will inherit the land." Matthew 5:5. But more blesses are the bold, for they will show the rest of the world who's boss. "Blessed are the merciful, for they will be shown mercy." But more blessed are the merciless, for they will kill ten Iraqi civilians for every one American who died on 9-11. I liked Reverend Wilfred better before he accepted that "faith-based initiative" money from the White House. Blessed are hose who spy on our e-mails and our phone calls.....

Lord, why are you punishing me? The Kings were all about letting bygones be bygones.
