Caption: I'm tired of people complaining about how the coral reefs have pretty much died off. I mean yeah, a huge variety of fish and other sealife rely on the coral reefs. And yeah, about 500 million people in turn depend on that sealife for food, jobs and recreation. But it's not mankind's fault those sea creatures decided to sponge off the hard work of the polyps that made all the coral. Wait ... what? ... and it's not our fault that 500 million people didn't think ahead and get real jobs instead of sponging off welfare fish. Besides, marine habitats are something better left to private industry. If the fish really want vast expanses of underwater limestone shelters, let them buy it on the free market like the rest of us. Besides, I was just wasting my time with all those snorkeling vacations. I should've been working. You're just trying to make yourself feel better. Newsweak.

Caption: 1982. If you could live anywhere in the whole wide world, where would it be? Other than here, I mean. Oh. Well … I think I would have to choose Canada. But only 'cause Atlantis is under water, and I can't swim. You could learn to swim. At my age? I should've learned when I was young. You are about to be seven. I feel like I wasted my youth.

Caption: What's wrong, Lemont? I was just thinking about how the oceans make up two-thirds of our planet. And most of the underwater world is basically unexplored. We have no idea what or who may be living down there, Susan. What does it matter? We've been here for hundreds of thousands of years. If there's anyone down there, they obviously don't want to meet us. We don't know that. What if they're just as clueless as we are? What if they've just never thought to explore what's at the top of the water and don't even know life exists up here? There could be a whole civilization of mer-bears who think they're the paragon of animals. That's just silly, Lemont. Would a mer-bear be silly for wondering if there are air-fish at the top of the water?

Caption: Hello, ABC Television? Lemont Brown, from the Candorville Courier. Is this about our new docudrama, Path to World War II"? Yeah, I'm curious about a few key scenes. Like the one where you show a whole contingent of CIA guys surrounding Mussolini's underwater cave in 1936 but Bill Clinton fails to give them permission to nuke him. And? Well, first of all, the CIA wasn't even created until 1947. Artistic license.

Caption: You wanted to see me, Mr. Fitzhugh? Garcia, your idea for the boundy paper towel ad campaign just isn't working for me. You have a man cleaning with it, and that's just not realistic. I say we go in a different direction. You mean you want me to use a woman instead. Sure, let's do what every other agency does, and show a comforting image of a woman who gets all tingly drying dishes. I'm saying she gets really excited, if you know what I mean. Maybe we can even show this woman submerged under water, happily drying a dish with boundy paper towels, not even noticing that she's suffocating to death -- because she's just so excited to be drying a @*$% dish! Great! have it on my desk by Wednesday.
