Caption: Did you hear, Clyde? It's looking more and more like the EM drive may actually work! It could get from earth to the moon in four hours. It could reach Mars in 70 days. It could reach the nearest star in just 100 years! Don't you see? This is the "impulse drive" from Star Trek! This is the "Epstein drive" from The Expanse, only it's real! It could be the most important development in human history. Yet everyone's still talking about Donald Trump. When you talk geek, it make me physically ill, bruh.

Caption: It's like the internet is a window into an alternate universe. In our universe, for instance, J.J. Abrams "Star Trek" movies and Zack Snyder's "Man of Steel" earned a lot of money. But on the internet, they were all huge disappointments that nobody went to see. And don't even get me started on the difference between real women and the type you see online. Don't worry, I won't.

Caption: It's the Ask Sadie Advice Hour. "Trekfan" in Dallas, you're on. WHAT'S YOUR PROBLEM?! House of Java Cybercafe. I've been trying to get my wife to watch sci-fi with me. But she's so closed-minded about it. Everything that I find so profound and beautiful about it, she finds silly. Stop trying to change your wife into a Xerox copy of yourself! Right now your relationship is based on the kind of incompatibility that leads to resentment, recrimination and bickering. Enjoy that. You'd make a great Klingon.

Do you know how many roads and bridges and tracks we could fix for $2 billion a week? Do you know how many episodes of a new "Star Trek" show we could produce for $2 billion a week? I mean ... Do you know how many hungry Americans we could feed for $2 billion a week?

Caption: I just watched "Rescue from Gilligan's Island" on Youtube. After all those years, they finally made it home and were welcomed as heroes. Then they went their own separate ways and tried to resume their lives. Only they realized their journey had changed them so much they no longer fit into their old lives, so they got back together and sailed off into the unknown. It's been 14 years. You really need to get over it. Even Gilligan's Island had a better ending that Star Trek: Voyager.

Caption: I can't stand old "Star Trek." There's just way too much talking and not enough blowing stuff up. Well, your problem, little buddy, is you didn't give it enough time to grow on you. You're judging it superficially. Not true. I've seen every single episode of every series and all the movies in the last five hours. Fast-forwarding through things doesn't count as "watching" them. I think it was Shakespeare who said "a meadow that isn't just as lovely from the window of a bullet train isn't lovely at all."

That's only two steps. Well yeh ... just repeat step two ten mo' times. First of all, it's Star "Trek." Come to think of it, I'm not even sure we need step one.

Caption: I finally figured out who you copy. What do you mean "who I copy"? You know, the guy whose mannerisms, style and speech inspire you so much you copy them What are you saying? We all do that. Right? I mean, the best way to find who you are is to find who you want to be and copy that. ... Right? You're a child, not a man. See what I mean? Spoken just like Captain Kirk. Is this why you have a picture of Don Knotts in your wallet?

Caption: I still can't believe the President is normalizing relations with Cuba. Me neither. Your realize how long it's been since American let its people hang out in Cuba? Two words, Susan: "Ricky Ricardo." The U.S. has been giving Cuba the cold shoulder ever since Ricky Ricardo was married to Lucy, and it tool till now for us to admit it wasn't working. Gene Roddenberry was still trying to sell some TV show about World War II. You lost me on that one. The original Star Trek wouldn't exist for another five years!

Caption: I have to admit something, Susan. You love me? You want us to be more than friends? I actually like "Star Trek: Enterprise" now. I think I used to hate it because it wasn't what I wanted it to be, but after a decade, I've rewatched it on Netflix, and to my complete surprise ... I've really come to enjoy it for what it is. That's very important to do. Yeah. Yeah, it is.
