Caption: I'll tell you one thing, Susan, this is not the country I thought it was. When we were kids, I thought all the bad, unfair, horrible things were all in the past. I thought Martin Luther King, Jr., the Beatles, Muhammad Ali and Mr. Rogers came along and made it all better. I want my son to have the same tragically wrong illusions. It makes for a happy childhood. I still don't think you should cryogenically freeze him and they him out when all the crazy stops. I'm just researching whether it's possible. I haven't decided.

Caption: Boss … if you could live in any era in history, which one would it be? I'm glad you asked. I've given this a lot of thought. I'd travel back to 14th century Europe and try to broker peace to head off the hundred year's war. I could save 3.3 million lives. I'd also bring a suitcase of penicillin and other antibiotics with me to cure "The Black Death" before it got started. I could save 200 million people. Maybe he's not such a bad man. Without that depletion of manpower, feudalism would never have tragically had to end and you'd be calling me "lord."

Caption: Hey Mister … what's the big deal about the new Star Wars trailer? Omigawd … I haven't seen so much emotion and tragedy and hope all at the same time since "Empire"! And it’s got acting! And it feels real! And it's got Leia and Han and Chewie, and everything that made Star Wars real to me even when I was seven! I've been waiting for this my whole life! My brother was right. Ask a really old guy about that trailer and he'll go nuts. You brother doesn't deserve real Star Wars.

Caption: So you're not going to the prom? I'm pretty sure there are more important things in life. You don’t care about the glamour and romance? I care about improving the world, doing good. Awkward dates are pointless. Romance can wait 'til I'm grown up. And I thought not going to the prom was a tragic downer. You make it sound like a noble achievement. It's whatever you think it is.

But at the same time, it's invigorating because it's out of the ordinary. We feel bad, but we're all secretly excited, because it reminds us we're living on the edge. This, right here, is why I never ask you for a ride.

Caption: Whew! You know, it might seem like I enjoy man-bashing but I really don't! For one thing, not all men are jerks. I don't want to bash "nice guys" like my friends here. Hi! Hello! "Jerks" and nice guys are abstract concepts anyway! What I really want to bash is jerky behavior and you don't have to be a jerk to act like a jerk. Hmm? What are you implying? And people confuse jerky behavior with wanting sex! No no no! Sex is good! What's really tragic is how some men try to be "nice" denying their sensuality. I don't want to encourage that. The jerky behavior isn't about sex as much as treating women like objects. I'm not a sex object, but I am a sexual being. I want my sexuality to be acknowledged .... without being seen as a toy or a sexual commodity for men! 'Cause the fact is I like men! Please don't touch me without asking first. Why?
