Cartoonist(s): Darrin Bell
Comic/Cartoon: Candorville
Viewable Date: 2017-04-03 Pub. Date: 2017-04-03
Image Number: 156465
Caption: So what if you can't get a mortgage to buy a house? If you really want to move to Canada, why not just rent? Because I've live in the same tiny $600 rent-controlled apartment my whole adult life, I've saved every month for decades, and I haven't bought a new computer since 2003. I've done all this so that one day I could afford to buy a house and have something to leave my son. Spending fifty billion dollars a month on rent might make that a little hard to do. You're exaggerating ... a little.

Caption: What was life really like in the Middle Ages, Sadie? A lot like today. There were a tiny handful of filthy rich feudal lords, and a huge mass of poor peasants who were too ignorant to see what was going on. What? No, I didn't really want to learn anything, I was just calling you "old." Let's try that again ... How did the sky over your house look after than asteroid wiped out all the dinosaurs? It looked brown. A lot like today.

Caption: "Dear Mars Candy Company: It's time you ceased mislabeling bags of tiny candy bars as 'fun-size.' Your discredited practice is the single greatest cause of reduced candy yield per house on Halloween. What, pray tell, is fun about that?" Well … fewer cavities and lower triglycerides are arguably uplifting. You're not as much fun when you act like an adult. Fortunately, it doesn't happen often.

10. Comic Strip Darrin Bell Rudy Park 2016-07-31 tiny house
Cartoonist(s): Darrin Bell
Comic/Cartoon: Rudy Park
Viewable Date: 2016-07-31 Pub. Date: 2016-07-31
Image Number: 145649
Caption: Rudy, how's that print order coming? What print order? The "House of Java" flags I asked you to have printed. You were serious? Of course. Britain exiting the European Union was just the first domino to fall. Spain might be next , then Finland, then Foreignvania and all the other Anias. And that's just for starters. It's going to spread. My sources tell me the Maldives will be next to split up. Each coral atoll will become a separate and distinct Maldo. "Maldo"? From there the contagion will spread to Australia, which will become a collection of separate city states, some run by man, some run by marsupials. My calculations show it'll eventually spread to North America, where we'll disintegrate into thousands of tiny fiefdoms ruled by whoever is first to plant a flag. Are you sure you didn't forget to carry the "one"?

Comic/Cartoon: The Brilliant Mind of Edison Lee
Viewable Date: 2015-01-25 Pub. Date: 2015-01-25
Image Number: 121174
Caption: What have you been up to, Edison? Oh, nothing. Nothing? Well ... nothing except helping poor old Mister Crandall. Do what? Save money. How? By installing my fuel-saving, super-efficient combustion attachment to his car's engine block. Did it work? Pretty much, except for a tiny little knock. Knock? It was actually more like a blam. I wonder why there are fire trucks at the Crandall house. The good news is he won't have to spend nearly as much on gas now.

I bet Santa was up for hours putting all those stickers on. Well, his elves probably did that part. Or maybe it was just one elf. Yeah, maybe. Comic/Cartoon: The Brilliant Mind of Edison Lee
Viewable Date: 2011-04-03 Pub. Date: 2011-04-03
Image Number: 59073
Caption: I had grandpa swallow a capsule equipped with a tiny camera. It's really cool, like the movie "Fantastic Voyage." Is that his stomach? Actually, dad, the robot appears to be entering a peppermint stick forest. See the red and white stripes? Ooo … And there's his heart, looking almost like a crooked old peanut brittle house, pumping out little red gooey gumdrops carrying oxygen to the body tissues. Oh, no ... get ready for a slowdown as we slog through the molasses swamp that's his central nervous system. This is ludicrous! Don't you see there are serious health issues here? Whoa! You're right! That box of hamburger helper is not supposed to be there.
