Caption: How's your son, Lemont? He's great! "He's great"? That's it? I just don't want to be one of those dads who's always going on and on and on about his kid. I don't want people to get sick of hearing about him. That's why I try never to post more than 1 photo of him on Facebook per hour. That's thoughtful.

Caption: You don’t look too good Clyde. You look like you're about to throw up. Either that, or you're deep in sorrowful, thoughtful reflection about man's inhumanity toward man. Man's what? Who give a dohgawd … … That's breakfast. That's what I thought. (This cartoon was originally published on 2012-06-12)

Caption: Why is there something instead of nothing? That's maybe the most fundamental question ever. It's also a trick question. "Nothing" can only be defined as an absence of "something." It's ok to say "I don’t know," Lemont. Every nothing is therefore proof of something.

Caption: Mesoamerica, 3114 B.C. So you say you've come from the future in my dreams to warn me about the apocalypse … … So that I can write a story about it for the Ancient Maya Gazette, and prevent it from ever happening. That's thoughtful of you. Don’t mention it. Wait ... So you don't want me too warn people? What? What?

Caption: What do you mean Lionel already bought your Father's Day gift? He's two, Lemont. He doesn’t have any money. I know he'd be sad about that … So I used his college fund to get myself the complete Doctor Who DVD set. You're very thoughtful. You have to put the children first.

Caption: Y'know the worst part of Christmas? Not knowing if people are gonna like the gifts you give 'em. Let's say that - hypothetically speaking - some thoughtful friend were to spare you that anxiety by setting up a wish list on amazoble.com. That way, you could go to your friend's website and find out exactly what she (or he) wants, ranked in order of preference. Amazoble will wrap your order, write a card and deliver it. Just a few clicks, you're done. You wouldn't waste time thinking about what your friend would want, and she'd get that "Dirty Girls Social Club" novel when wanted. it's a win-win. If hypothetically, that's what's on her - or his - wish list. I'm not too sure I like this century.

Caption: Yo, L. How come you never ask me if I read your blog? You always be asking' Susan, but you never ask the C-dog. It's sorry Clyde, it's just that I don’t write about society an' politics, y'know, heavy stuff. I didn't think you'd be interested. So what did you think of my latest article? I don't know, fool, I don't read that bougie @#$%. It was thought provoking.
