Caption: Did you catch the Ask Sadie Show? They were talking about immortality. You're interrupting today's How to be an Alpha lesson, little buddy. They said that in just 30 years, we'll be able to transfer our minds to a server, shoot it into deep space where the cold will help the hard drive to survive for eons, and live in a virtual. But what if we've already done that? What if it's like the Matrix, or like Elon Musk's theories, and nothing we see is really real? What if right now, we're in a hard drive orbiting Ur ... As I was saying ... Alphas don't tell Uranus jokes.

Caption: 2016. Trump's not going to win. Not worried about him. That's why you should worry about him!!! What do you mean? Every time an impossible candidate wins, it's because people didn't worry about him. No one worried about Nixon. Nixon was a has-been. No one worried about Reagan. Reagan was a joke. Barack Obama ... he was nobody. 2018. No way President Trump can survive all these scandals. Thanks, you've just doomed us all.

Caption: In solidarity with those teens who survived the mass shooting, I've decided to stop accepting any NRA ads on my website. That's complicated by the fact they don't run any ads on my site. I thought of advertising my site on their site, so they'd notice me and try to advertise on my site ... and then I could turn them down. Walk away, Lemont. I'm just not sure it's the most ethical way to be ethical.

Caption: Did you know there's a Youtube video of the last surviving eyewitness to the Abraham Lincoln assassination? Samuel Seymour. He was 95 years old. And he clearly remembered what he saw when he was just five years old. I still think your son'll forget seeing you fall in that manhole. I just hope he forgets all that stuff I shouted.

Caption: It's estimated the Amazon contains about 100 tribes never contacted by outside civilization. And there are hundreds more uncontacted people in jungles all over the world. They've probably never heard of the black plague, or the Dark Ages, or the Mongol hordes, or World War II, or Donald Trump ... and we've never heard of all the calamities they've survived, either.

Caption: Hello, creditor, you've reached the home of Lemont Brown. Paying 30% interest on the bus ticket you helped me buy 20 years ago is more important to me than survival. So I can't come to the phone right now, because I'm busy bundling all my cash to send to you instead of using it to feed my child, pay my rent and keep my lights on. Please leave a message and I'll get back to you when I'm done making money appear out of thin air. Beep.

Caption: When are you going to teach your son about death? Never. If your toenail falls off, have you died? If you lose a foot to a grizzly bear, have you died? If a wild kangaroo rips off both your arms, have you died? If you can survive without parts of your body, who's to say you don't survive without the whole body? You can't just avoid having hard talks with your son. I don't want him to survive dying and then call me a liar.

Caption: You look upset. What's bothering you, Lemont? You can tell me anything. Well … I was on Youtube trying to figure out how to get them to delete a humiliating video of me … when I came across a video of Karl Urban saying the new Star Trek movie was honoring the original series. By putting shoulder pads in the uniforms. Can you believe that? Everyone knows it was the Next Generation that had the shoulder pads! If the new Doctor McCoy doesn't even know that, then Star Trek is doomed. Star Track will survive. "Trek"!

Caption: You know why I'm optimistic about the future, Susan? The movies. When I was a kid, everyone thought "Mad Max" and "Red Dawn" were possible futures. That's because all were certain that, sooner or later, we and the Russians would nuke each other, and only mutants, robots and guys wearing leather would survive. We don't see post-apocalyptic movies as documentaries anymore. You don't think that's just 'cause we're grown? Pessimist.

Caption: Anyone who thinks we ever really went to the moon is a complete idiot. Youtube has tons of videos on this. Humans couldn't possibly have survived a trip through the Van Allen Radiation Belt. That's proof it was all a conspiracy. Not true. According to Dr. Van Allen himself, the notion that radiation should've killed those astronauts is "nonsense." Well how come we can't see the astronauts' footprints? That's proof it was all a conspiracy. Not true. Other countries have snapped pictures of the landing sites, and just a few years ago the lunar reconnaissance orbiter took photos of the footprints. There were no stars in the old films. That's proof it was all a conspiracy. The exposure settings were calibrated to get good shots of the extremely bright lunar surface. They couldn't do that and capture the relatively dim stars at the same time. You moon-landing-ists have an answer for everything. That's proof it was all a conspiracy. Thousands of people could never keep a secret that big for 46 years! That's what they want you to think.

Caption: I've figured out why a lot of America's greatest cities are in decline. Why? Because I had some time on my hands while I was doing laundry … But that's not important right now. I'm gonna smash your "Airplane" dvd. Most people think it's only about the shrinking manufacturing and tax base ... but what they don't realize is, cities are living organisms. People are blood cells. Streets are arteries. Downtowns are the heart. The newspaper is the brain. Let's talk about "Airplane" again. You can't survive without a healthy brain, unless you're Congress.

Caption: Jebediah Oldman, meet Lemont Brown, one of our rising stars. It's an honor, sir. I've read your comic strip since I was a kid. So did my mom. …And my granddad. And my great-grandma. Must… eat… brains… to survive. Y'know, you're a lot more deadpan than your comics.

Caption: Erebody talking 'bout "Hunt down those Somalia pirates. Kill 'em! Show them who's boss!" Britain, France, the U.S. …all sending warships to shoot more pirates. You wanna end piracy? I'll tell you how to end piracy. Take those warships… …an' have 'em PROTECT Somalia fishermen from the Asian and European ships that've been stealing Somalia's seafood and dumping nuclear waste in Somalia's waters ever since Somalia's government fell in 1991. Then Somalians could get back to earning a living off their own resources and won't have to resort to piracy just to survive. That's how you stop piracy. Whaddaya think of that? I don't know. Whaddaya think of barbers who think they're on Oprah and won't stop talking long enough to cut somebody's hair? Barbers don't go for sarcasm.

"What's your new album called, Clyde? "Saggin: How I Roll, an' How Punks be Wantin' ta Roll How I Roll." …Both equally worthwhile topics. Don't be stealin' my title.

Caption: At least 11 million undocumented immigrants live in the United States, in violation of the law. Horrible! They should all be rounded up and deported. They're breaking the law, and no society can survive if people don't respect the law. It's not that big a deal. President Bush authorized spying on Americans without having to get a warrant, in violation of the law. Horrible! Hw should be impeached. He's breaking the law, and no society can survive if people don't respect the law. It's not that big a deal. Thank God for culture clash.

Caption: 1986. Some elements of the GOP have suggested "starving the beast" -- Cutting taxes so much that funding to government social programs is insufficient for them to survive. That way, Americans will forget that they used to be able to count on government in times of need. 2006. According to recent reports, homeless shelters are turning more and more people away each year, citing inadequate resources. What else is on?
