Caption: We've had two weeks between the conference finals and the big game. With time for injuries to heal, we're physically ready for a peak performance. We watched hour after hour of video. Then spent long days on the practice field so we'll function as a team and not a collection of individuals. And once we finally finish preparing for the touchdown celebrations, we might have an or two to practice football.

Caption: Sometimes America really disappoints me, Susan. Remember that Super Bowl commercial where the kid says he'll never be this and never do that, because he died in an avoidable childhood accident? My reaction was "with all these people watching … that commercial is probably going to save some child's life." America's reaction was "Hey! Save a kid some other time, I'm trying to eat a nacho here." I'm paraphrasing ... barely.

Caption: Look! Up in the sky! It's absurd! It's inane! It's "Malaprop Man"! Malaprop Man, you're a referee?! Yeah, I'm working at the Supper Bowl! I"ll get to see the cold day halftime show, too! I'm guarding these balls until kickoff. We don't want another debategate scandal! During the game I'll throw a flag whenever I see a penalty like pass incoherence, unnecessary gruffness ... two mini men on the field, or illegal backfield emotion! The last one's important, Malaprop Man ... there's no crying in football!

Caption: I was watching the Super Bowl, having a good time, when all of a sudden there was this insurance company commercial. It has some kid saying he'll never do this or never do that, because he died in an avoidable childhood accident. Can you believe that? They had the nerve to momentarily kill my super-bowl-buzz in order to potentially save kids' lives. That was awful. What were they thinking? I don't know. Some people just don't have their priorities straight.

Caption: Noah's Art Sports Network. Are we all set for the Super Bowl broadcast? I think so. The turtle will handle the pregame show which seems to drag on forever. A zebra will be brought on to analyze close calls referees have to make. The sloth is in charge of slow motion shots. And color will be provided by the chameleon. Thankfully, there's a retractable roof over at the stadium. That's good. The forecast says there's a possibility of a little rain.

Caption: Superbowl Party. What a game --- I'm exhausted! I think that was our best super bowl party ever! Ernie, you ate all the chips before either team scored! Yeah, I had three unassisted, first-quarter sacks! Then you devoured the pizza I had delivered for the break! I gave a great half-time performance, didn't I?! And you kept on going! In the second half --- You went back again and again for more food! I wanted to finish strong and set the super bowl record for returns!
