Caption: I don't want to be that guy, but … But what? Well … you notice anything about all the old sitcoms they're bringing back? "Full House" … "Will & Grace" … "Roseanne" … "Gilmore Girls" … How come nobody's talking about bringing back "227" … "A Different World" ... "Living Single" ... "Family Matters" ... "Moesha" ... "The Cosby Show" ... Stop trying to change the subject and admit you lost that argument we had two weeks ago. Wait, wait ... scratch "The Cosby Show."

Caption: I was talking to Susan about Robin Thicke's love life yesterday, and I felt guilty. I usually talk to her about intelligent, important matters. I usually save any dumb, frivolous, utterly inconsequential thoughts for when I hang out with you. Talking about Robin Thicke should've been our thing. I think I'll get over it, bruh.

Caption: I met this awesome guy. I think he may be "the one." We talked for hours and never ran out of things to say. He was so interested in what I think, what I do, what I want out of life … We talked about that for hours and hours. Cool. What does he think, do and want out of life? Beats me. I'm sure we'll get around to that once he calls me for a second date. Dios mio.

Caption: What's wrong, Lemont? I decided to show my son the same cartoons I saw as a kid. So I YouTubed "Casper the Friendly Ghost." He liked it, but all I could think about was "Hey … that's a dead kid who's not allowed to go to heaven … "… He's condemned to roam the earth forever, trying in vain to make friends. And every time he fails, he tries to OFF himself." So those stories were fine for you but not for your kid? So then we watched the Smurfs, and I was like, "This is a caste system!"

Caption: 1982. Do you want to see "E.T.," Lemont? Momma says we can't afford it. I could probably see "Porky's" though. Momma says that movie's "really cheap." But when I asked her about it, she like … totally flipped out. So thin I asked her if I could see "Tootsie." After all, I do love Tootsie Rolls, so ... She flipped out about that too. Said somethin' about "cross-dressing" being wrong. What's "cross-dressing"? I assume that has something to do with the civil rights movement. You mom never makes any sense, Lemont. When I'm a grown-up, I may have to have her committed.

Caption: facebook. Messages. From SASHA MITCHELL. I can't leave Webster right now, Lemont. It doesn't matter how mean he is to me … I have children. When you have kids, your life isn't yours anymore. It’s theirs. If leaving a horrible marriage is going to make their lives worse, you STAY. Because your own life is over, over, OVER. Can we change the subject? How are YOU doing? I just won custody of Lionel. Tap tap ta- tap t- t- Um ... By all that, I meant to say your life is just beginning.

Caption: Political assassination is not a topic for satire, Nast. We cannot make light of such an unthinkable act. But my cartoons demanding better security for Abrahma Lincoln may prevent a horrible tragedy and spare the nation 100 years of misery and hate! Yes, yes. But on the other hand, a dozen or so readers may take offense. I see your dilemma. We're going with young Curtis' cartoon about a cow that loves lasagna.

Caption: I have to give my editor a column by 5, but all morning I couldn't think of anything to write. Then it hit me: Dr. Kevorkian just got out of jail. (He's the dude who used to help suffering people kill themselves.) You take writer's block way too hard. What? What?
