Caption: I’d like to apologize for our obese viewers for comments two days ago. When I joked that the Army's decision to allow obese applicants was a conspiracy to enrich Halliburton's dessert division, that was insensitive. I'm a rail-thin, air-headed newsmodel, and sometimes I forget that most Americans are obese. Classy apology. That should hold 'em 'til dinner. Are we still on?

Caption: Hi, Congressional Black Caucus? I'm Lemont Brown with the Candorville Courier. Care to comment on Nancy Pelosi's request that Congressman William Jefferson step down from his committee while he's under investigation for bribery? It's a double standard! She never asked many other democrats to step down. So why should she as Jefferson, who's black? Because no other democrats were videotaped taking bribes, or with $90K in their freezers? You're so naive.

Hey, are you the same congressman who used the National Guard to rescue stuff from your house while people were drowning during Hurricane Katrina? Hurricane what?
