Caption: Produce Market. Lots of things are going on with the produce. The tomatoes, as usual, are having a fruit or veggie identity crisis. Though it makes no sense, the apples and oranges are constantly comparing themselves to one another. The plums are happy. Any assignment or position that comes their way is always the best. That potatoes want couches, of course. And the bananas think they should run the market government. Sure, a banana republic!

Caption: I've decided to become a mystery writer. "Dark clouds filled the horizon as two young lovers walked along the shore. As if sensing something was about to happen, seabirds cautiously circled around the couple. Suddenly and without warning, the young man reached inside his jacket and pulled out a large bag of pretzels and began to feed the birds." I'm very proud of that opening. The story has just started and it's already filled with twists and terns.

King Ferns are fans of the Kansas City Royals. Cattails follow the Detroit Tigers. And Redwood trees are huge supporters of their local team in San Francisco. That makes sense. Giants love the Giants! Redwood trees are the team's biggest fans!

Caption: Sometimes economists come to counter-intuitive conclusions. That happened when Professor Ernie did a case study on a small city. They have a thriving top-notch medical center which was adding lots of surgical staff. Firms prepping diamonds for jewelry and movie-editing companies are relocating to the city. And the sawmill was adding a shift. Now hiring. His seemingly illogical conclusion now makes sense. With "cutting jobs" they saw increased levels of employment!

Caption: Happy Valentine's Day! My friend is looking for a valentine's day date. She asked me to build her ideal man. She wants him to be tall and smart so I made him with long legs and a big brain. He has great ears so he's a good listener, and an extra funny bone so he has a wonderful sense of humor. Most important, I was very careful when working on his chest. Her ideal man must have his heart in the right place. Will you be my valentine?

I didn't ask for I.D. I didn't want to violate the no "dating" the customers policy. Ernie is an absolute genius about beer, but lacks common sense about everything else!

Caption: I think the dolphins are my favorite football team! I'll explain football to you. First, don't worry about the word "tackle" -- It has nothing to do with fishing equipment. And "The Big Tuna" isn't like us -- It's a nickname for Coach Bill Parcels. Touchdown! And 80-yard pass play! I'm confused. It made no sense when they said the quarterback was "going deep."
