Dad is the hardest person to buy a Christmas gift for. He always says he doesn’t want anything. Oh, he's such an old poop. So I always buy him a shirt, which he just stuffs in a drawer and never wears. It's such a waste. So I'm thinking of taking one of those shirts out of his drawer and re-gifting it to him. Is that terrible? Not at all. I pull a book out of his bookshelf each Christmas and wrap it for him. He always thinks it's brand new.
Merry Christmas, Earl! I hope you like it. Ah…a book. Very nice. Thank you, dear. Why is is inscribed, "Happy birthday, Mom! Love, Sylvia"? I…don't know. Probably a printing defect.
