Caption: 1982. Momma says she wants me to be the next Thurgood Marshall. So I asked who that is, and she said he desegregated the schools. And I asked what "desegregated" means, and she said "I'll tell you when you're older." It was at that point that I realized Momma was probably just making up words. What's a "Thurgood"? No, that one makes sense. What has a Thursday ever been bad?

Caption: What's wrong with you? I thought sitting on the sidewalk crack would make me happier. But after the initial thrill wore off, it became apparent to me it was no different from sitting beside it. This upends the entire paradigm, Rosencrantz. It means the hereafter is no happier than the ... the therebefore. I'm pretty sure "therebefore" hasn't been an actual word for a long, long time, Tyrone. And has that realization made you any happier?

Caption: I realized Christmas was a bunch of nonsense when we was kids, Big L. You know why? 'Cause of all the snow. Reindeer in the snow. Pine trees in the snow. Fat Santa in the snow. But Jesus was from the Middle East, dawg. The Middle East where it's hot. That's why I decorate my tree with hummus. There wasn't nary a snowflake in the bible, bruh.

Caption: Urethra! What? You said the other day your iPhone's been tracking your movemets for years. We can use that to prove you've been with Roxanne and Lionel! … Oh, wait. You said all your media libraries were suspiciously erased. I guess that would include the location data the iPhoen would've backed up to iTunes. You mean "eureka"? What'd I say?

Caption: Are there any job openings at your ad agency? Really? Lemont, I'm so excited! It's about time you realized there's no future in journalism, that your newspaper is dying, and that it's just stupid at your age to keep wasting time in a dead-end job. … I meant 'cause I know a kid whose mom needs a job. Oh, well ... I ... ay ay. What do you mean "at my age"?

Caption: I think I realized what went wrong between Kelly and me. I realized it after seeing "Up in the Air," that movie with George Clooney. Clooney's character had a fling with some chick, but when Clooney tried to turn that into something lasting … she shut him down. Kicked him to the curb. Because she already had a real life, and she only wanted this fling when it was a momentary escape from that. So what did this make you realize? That I'm paying way too much for therapy. Fascinating. You don't even give me popcorn.

Caption: Y'know, you're actually really beautiful, Susan. Aw, that's … what do you mean "actually'? Huh? Well you said, "actually" like it was some sudden realization. Like up until now you're seen me as some hideous snaggledtoothed swamp creature. No, no. I've always thought you were pretty. "Thought"? You didn't KNOW? You weren't certain? Never mind. "Never mind"? You mean I'm NOT pretty?

I want you, Susan. I want you. You first, Susan. I met someone. Oh come on, God, can you get any more cliche?! I'm so happy.

Caption: Look, I'm sorry I was away so long, but something miraculous happened. When Iran's secret police captured and tortured me and was about to kill me in a macabre and agonizing way … … I realized I'd actually rather be here with you. Flattery will get you nowhere. And that's only a minor overstatement.

Caption: What does Republican National Committee Chairman Michael Steele think he's doing? Ain't no party like a GOP Party 'cause a GOP Party don't stop. I think he's trying to tell us that, in the wake of a history-changing election, the GOP realizes it has to incorporate ideas that appeal to the priorities and values of minorities and young people. Watch me back my thang up!

I think the nachos held their own.

Caption: So, you voted for Obama as the realization of Dr. King's dream that we'd all be judged by who we are, not what we are… Check. …and that all of us would have equal rights. Check. And then you voted to take equal rights away from gay people. Check. And you don't see any shameful irony in that. Check.

Caption: I turned 30 the other day. That morning, I looked in the mirror and all of a sudden there was a bald spot. I looked some more, and all of a sudden there were lines on my forehead and at the corners of my eyes. I looked in the mirror again that night and I saw turkey neck. And jowls. Definitely jowls. Out of nowhere. And I looked closer, and my skin wasn't smooth anymore. That's when I realized... I see. You realized you've been in denial about growing older. I realized I need a new mirror.

Caption: I've figured out the problem, Clyde. Mankind's watch moves forward. Imagine if our watches counted DOWN the time we had left. The minutes we had left in a day. The days left in each month. The months we have left of our years on this Earth. If our watches counted down, time would seem more precious. We wouldn't want to waste any of it. Imagine how much more we'd accomplish in our lives. Wait...watches also tell time? Good talk, Clyde.

Caption: Why so down, Lemont? I bough the crazy vegetarian chick's ring today, Susan. Oh. It just hit me: This is really happening. I'm really getting married. I've been in denial all this time, floating around in blissful ignorance, oblivious to the gruesome fate toward which I was plummeting. That's not like you at all. Luckily they took Visa, so I didn't actually have to pay for it.

Caption: Y'know, when I was a kid I thought Eudora meddled in Darrin and Samantha's life, causin' trouble outta spite. I hated her. Thought she was nuts. Evil. But the other day, I looked at it all again, and man … I agreed with every last word Eudora said. She was all about the importance of being honest and true to oneself, while Darrin was selfishly trying to force Samantha to deny here true nature just 'cause he was insecure. Suddenly I realized it was Darrin who was wrong all along, not Eudora. And then it struck me. Susan: I really have matured. Not if you measure maturity by how you react to "Bewitched." Darrin Stevens could learn a thing or two from Major Nelson.

I don't love Roxanne, but I can't let my boy grow up without a father, like I did. Sir, when I asked "How is everything," I meant the food.
