Caption: Great-looking hair, made easy. Just dye. We now return to our program. How much time do I have to save the kitten, bring Timmy his inhaler, and defuse the nuclear bomb? You have a lot less time than you did before you started that sentence. We'll be back after these messages ... I'm rally psyched Little Tyrant Pizza's bringing the flavor with its new pecan guacamole dipping sauce! A guy, a beach, a skateboard. A girl bouncing in slow motion. And these corn chips that have nothing to do with any of that. Buy them. Six other commercials that go on so long that you don't remember what show you're watching. Going back to Netflixing everything. And now back to our show ... What were we doing? Defusing something or other, I think.

Caption: You remember that racist KKK/Nazi/White-supremacist rally in Charlottesville? 'Course, bruh. I think I may have really touched all those people I usually argue with online. Ever since that terrorist rally, every time I write that there's nothing wrong with having lots of women and minorities on the new Star Trek show, not a single person has dismissed me as a "cuck" or a "beta" or a "virtue-signaller" or a "social justice warrior." You think maybe because of Charlottesville, all the social injustice warriors have had an awakening? Nah, they probably just on vacation, like Congress.

Image Number: 142114
Caption: I'm tired of people calling Donald Trump a thug without any evidence whatsoever. How is it "inciting violence" to tell your supporters you'd pay their legal fees if they roughed up protesters? How is it a "threat" to day you might release the names and hotel room numbers of delegates who won't vote for Trump? People should be more responsible with their accusations ... if they know what's good for them.

Caption: People keep gettin' beat up at Trump rallies. All them people is stupid beyond belief. That's not fair, Clyde. How were they supposed to know they'd get beat up just for speaking their minds? That's not supposed to happen here. This is America. That's what I mean: this America, bruh. Why they ain't sued Trump for some of his $10 billion by now? That's ... well, ok. Yeah.

Image Number: 135923
Caption: I'm tired of people comparing Donald Trump to the fascist dictators of World War II. I mean sure, he still won't rule out forcing Muslims to register in a database. And sure, he condones it when his supporters beat and kick protesters. But what happened over there back then could NEVER happen here. Why couldn't it happen here? Because they were them and we're us.

Caption: Facebook Messages. From Sasha Mitchell. Hey, Lemont. I know you had a big day in court today, I just wanted to see how you're doing . Also, BTW, I had this weird dream last week, on Valentine's Day. Only when I woke up, I realized it was actually a MEMORY. I don't know if I should tell you ... It was Valentine's Day, 1995, around midnight. I was laying on your bed in the dorms just watching you write an article for the school paper. I recall being really happy and feeling rally honored that you let me do that. I had such a crush on you, Lemont. It was SO embarrassing. Lemont, I ... Lemont? Lemont? Are you there? MUST ... NOT ... HIT ... SEND ... It's "lying," not "laying," Sasha. SEND.

Caption: 2010. Look at this! Racist signs at the tea party rallies! That means the tea party is racist! You can't blame the whole institution for the actions of a few bad apples. 2002. Look at this! Huge corporations are ripping us off! That means capitalism is broken! You can't blame the whole institution for the actions of a few bad apples. 1976. Look at this! "Welfare queens" buying houses and fancy cars on my taxpayer money! that means welfare is a huge fraud! You can't blame the whole institution for the actions of a few bad apples.

Caption: So John McCain never left you behind in Vietnam? No. I came here of my own accord after the divorce. I caught him in bed with dishonor. Embracing those who had attacked his wife and baby. Implying his opponent was a terrorist-sympathizer with inappropriate thoughts about kindergarteners. Spending the entire month of September approving campaign ads that blatantly lied. Letting his running mate incite hate at her rallies. So, I divorced him. I became a salmon, swimming upstream to the place where I was born. I take it you got custody of the metaphors. Let me know when you decide to rant, and I'll come over and interrupt.

Together we changed the course of history. How can you refuse to publish my cartoons about how Lincoln needs better security? How can you be so daft, Fletcher?! Call me Mr. Harper.

Caption: Goober Dumnutz? I'm told you're the agent who decided not to check the whole crowd for weapons at Obama's Dallas rally. Sure am! Poppa Goober would be proud. He guarded JFK, y'know. Great Grampa Goober guarded McKinley. Even Great Great Great Grampa Goober was a security guard. At some theater in D.C. Say what? So you see, my security skills are inbred. You mean "inborn"?

Caption: I have to tell you, Lemont, I’m offended. Zzz… Why didn't you just ask me why the Secret Service didn't check the whole crowd for weapons at an Obama rally in Dallas? I thought we were close. Click. Wha-- who's there? What're you doing here? Federal Agent Murph, and that's classified. I so can't wait until 2009.

Cartoonist(s): Darrin Bell
Comic/Cartoon: Candorville
Viewable Date: 2008-03-05 Pub. Date: 2008-03-05
Image Number: 22134
Caption: Lemont Interviews the Secret Service. So, checking only a fraction of the crowd at an Obama rally for weapons was standard procedure? Yeah. Look, it just isn't feasible to check 17,000 people for weapons. Don't schools check millions of kids for weapons every day? Exactly my point. The schools are hogging all the metal detectors.

Caption: Mr. Wahl, why did the Secret Service order Dallas Police to stop checking for weapons at a Barack Obama rally? We have a layered security plan. We check some people, then we move on to others. Like what? Can't tell you. Top secret. Is one of those layers called "Making up excuses for not checking everyone for weapons"? Who told you?

Caption: What's wrong, Lemont? Hillary Clinton showed up for a rally today. So? So, she's still trying to mend fences with Blacks after some odd statements and her husband's weird tirades against Obama. Oh, no. Oh, yes. This rib reminds me how much I value Martin Luther King, Jr. WE FORGIVE YOU ALREADY.
