Caption: Hey, baby, you're cute. I was wondering if I could not have your cellphone number. Huh? You don't want my number? I'd hate to become one of the many interruptions that makes your day more stressful. If I need you, I'll just softly call your name. If you're too busy or don't hear, don't worry about it. I don't know why, but I am desperately in love with you. It's your hair. It's got to be the hair.

Caption: Randy "The Rock" Taylor's new unified theory of picking up chicks: You've got 20 seconds to get her attention before an email, text, phone call or tweet interrupts. Hey babe. I've got huge biceps, a sweet hybrid with fold-down seats and an iTunes collection with the year's hottest smoochin' music. Beep! Hold that thought. I've got an incoming call. Interesting. Make that fifteen seconds! Pardon? Were you talking? Wait, incoming text.

Image Number: 175399
Caption: Given our collective short attention span, you now have less than 20 seconds to pick up a chick. After that, you've lost her to a cellphone call, incoming email, Twitter and so forth. The key is to keep your approach crisp, witty, and so irresistible that the incoming tweet can actually wait. Does everyone have that? Ooh, does she have an iPhone? Hold on, I'm getting a call.

Caption: Check it out: The new iPhone. You bought an iPhone. Why? You hate everything I love. That's why I bought it. It's really incredible. It looks great. It's shiny. Just one problem. What's that? It constantly drops calls. And when you hold it in a certain position, it doesn't get any reception. It's great at everything except being a phone. I can't wait to show you the problem every single day. Heathen!

Caption: What's wrong, little buddy? My phone. I registered a new domain name the other day, but I didn't want to pay the extra $5 to make the ownership private. Ever since, people have been calling my cell every five minutes trying to sell me stuff. That's so slimy! What domain name did you register? Eploitrr.com. I registered that so I could sell stuff to people who mistyped while they were trying to reach exploiterr.com. Nothing like a good, honest living.

Caption: It's important to women that a man has a good relationship with his mother. Why's that? House of Java .Net Cybercafe. Because how a man treats his mother is a good indicator of how he'll treat a girlfriend. That's why I created an app that calls your phone and displays a photo of you hugging your mom whenever a gorgeous lady is within three feet of you. It also displays a nice, sweet lady whenever you're within three feet of your mom.

Comic/Cartoon: Rudy Park
Viewable Date: 2016-12-04 Pub. Date: 2016-12-04
Image Number: 150908
Caption: I'll trade you my phone for a latte. Pardon? You'll love it. It's vintage. A collector's item. It's from 1998. I bought it from a really old man in a magic shop last year. No deal. Come on! It's not like the shop vanished as soon as I left it. And it's not like I keep getting mysterious late-night calls on it from people in 1998 who keep telling me jokes I've already heard a million times. And it's not like the magic shop man told me I can only get rid of the phone by selling it or trading it. Rriiing! Rriiing! Rriiing! If it's Sinbad, tell him I'm not here! No deal.

Caption: I think Uncle Mort's lost it, Randy. I disagree, little buddy. Maybe he does think a dolphin called him on the phone. But that's not conclusive. Sure, he says the dolphin told him all the earth's sentient species convened an unprecedented council and vowed to band together to exterminate us if we voted for Donald Trump ... but maybe he's just talking in metaphor. This morning he threw himself on the mercy of a salamander.

Cartoonist(s): Darrin Bell
Comic/Cartoon: Rudy Park
Viewable Date: 2016-10-11 Pub. Date: 2016-10-11
Image Number: 149622
Caption: You got a phone call from who? From a "Mrs. Click-Whistle-Chirp." She's a dolphin. She wanted us to know that all the sea creatures and all the land mammals have banded together … to demand that we not elect Donald Trump. They haven't felt this compelled to speak to us since they convinced Noah to build that ark. I guess there are two sides to every story. They'd also like us to know "Flipper" and "Gentle Ben" were stereotyped.

Caption: Hey Rudy, you've been in there for over an hour. You ok in there? I think I'm dying here. What? D'you need me to call 911? I don't think that'll help. I just need to build more pikemen and cavalry and buy a defense boost before the enemy's march reaches my city. Get off your phone!!! I'm saving the kingdom here! It's important!

Caption: Little buddy, I believe you owe me an apology. How do you figure? You're the one who left me rotting in a jail cell! You were my one phone call! What happened to Randy's Friendship Rule #7: "Friends always bail friends out"?! You're forgetting the corollary: "Unless the friend's in jail for something pathetic, like trespassing while playing Pokémon Go." Apology accepted. A huge biker took it the wrong way when I tried to catch a Pokémon that was hiding under his beard.

When's the last time you called your mother? December 2, 1992. The day before text messaging was introduced. INGRATE!!!

Caption: I've edited your Wikipedia entry again, Sadie. You're about to be inundated with phone calls from the press. Whatever, geek-boy. Tap tap tap tap tap. You're now the world's foremost authority on turkey leprosy, the disease that's threatening to ruin the holidays. No one'll believe that. Oh yeah? I wrote a Wikipedia page for turkey leprosy, too, along with examples of all the historical figures it's killed, such as the Archduke of Crushistan. There is no "Crushistan." I've written a Wikipedia entry for Crushistan. You should teach a class on wasting time. Ring ring ring ring.

Caption: It's flu season! Stay indoors! Touch no one! Barricade the doors! Burn all your incoming mail! Refuse all pizza deliveries! The best way to greet children and loved ones during this time of national tragedy is via not doing it. I would take your calls, but I don't know where your phone lines have been. HOJ.

Caption: Welcome to ASK SADIE. You're on, Chicago. What's your problem? I'm not sure my children love me. How can. Stop. You know why your children don’t love you? Because you're an insecure, whiny toad and they can SMELL the desperation on you. Raising children is like any other relationship: you have to play hard-to-get! They have a runny nose? A boo-boo? They're hungry? Make them wait till you finish your phone call, do your hair, take your nap, have your supper ... Do your own children love you? I don't see what that has to do with anything.

Caption: Your generation pushes a few buttons and makes a napp for your me-phone and calls that "initiative." In my day, initiative took muscle! It took moxie! The year was 1930. The depression. Ruined lives. Ruined futures. Ruined cities. And in those ruined cities, rats began to run rampant. One buxom young lass with a hammer and a dream seized the opportunity. You kids today would never have the moxie to smack your way across the country. What's a "hammer"?

Caption: Yesterday, before you insulted me, you showed me how you can use your me-phone to make your voice sound like someone else's. Let's say you, theoretically, left your phone on the counter. … And let's say someone paid a six-year-old a nickel to make the phone sound like you ... so that someone could call every single female listed in your "black book" file and say things that would totally and irrevocably humiliate you. ... And let's say that person discovered that every one of those listings dials your mother. Busted.
