Caption: What would you say is your worst fear, Opal? Flying, definitely. It scares me to death. Statistically speaking, you're more likely to die in a shopping cart accident at Walmart than in a plane crash. If that ever happens to me, promise you won't let them list the cause of death in my obituary.

Caption: It used to he a special occasion to get your picture taken. Now there are cameras everywhere, so you get photographed every time you turn around. But you never know which one of all those photos someone is going to chose to put in the paper with your obituary notice. I'd choose the one where you got your electric toothbrush tangled up in your mustache.

Caption: Mom said you're writing your own obituary. Yeah, most of them are so boring and poorly written. I don't want mine to be like that. It says you were a special consultant on the economy to President Reagan. Yeah. I sent him a letter once. I'm going more for a compelling read than for literal accuracy.

Caption: Reading the obituaries? Yeah. Most of them are pretty poorly written. I hope if you end up writing mine you'll do a better job of it. Why don't you just write it yourself? Ooh! That's not a bad idea. A sweet, wonderful man died yesterday, and no one knows how the world can survive without him.
