Caption: This beautiful apron belonged to my Mom. She did amazing needlework. It has a few stains on it, but I don't care. I love it. This handkerchief belonged to my dear old Dad. He used to wipe his sweaty brow and blow his nose on it, but I don't care. I love it.

Caption: There's nothing wrong with teaching a boy to crochet, Earl. It's great for hand-eye coordination. And it's better than sitting around all day in front of a video game. But why do you have to teach him to crochet a doily? Why couldn't it at least be something manly, like a jockstrap?
