Viewable Date: 2011-09-11 Pub. Date: 2011-09-11

Caption: What were you thinking about when you went to bed on 9/11? I was praying to wake up the next day and it'd all just be a dream. What were you thinking about when you went to be on 9/11? I was hoping we'd rise to the occasion and honor the dead, the survivors, and the heroes ... by failing to rebuild the Twin Towers, by curtailing our own civil liberties, by calling each other "un-American," by torturing prisoners, mocking the French, invading the wrong country, and having our airports inspect kids' and old people's underpants. I like to have realistic hopes. I don't think sarcasm's allowed on 9/11 day.

Caption: Dear "Sir" … I am very offended by an "article" you "wrote" months ago, "mocking" people who express "derision" by putting quotation marks where they don't "belong". Who are YOU to "judge" where we "can" and "can't" put quotation marks? What makes your way of "expressing" yourself any more "correct" than my way". And don't cop out and "say" something lame like "the rules of the English language." That's the last time I check my -email. I await your pathetic "response." "Sincerely," Earl W.

Cartoonist(s): Darrin Bell
Comic/Cartoon: Candorville
Viewable Date: 2010-04-04 Pub. Date: 2010-04-04
Image Number: 45685
Caption: Dear Moron … I am offended by your latest "blog" where you wrote that you're tired of people being offended about everything. It's very insulting of you to imply that people who take offense do so because they're just oversensitive. The easily offended play a vital role in our society and we're tired of being persecuted and mocked. I believe it was Martin Luther King, Jr. who dreamt of a day when the easily offended could sit at a lunch counter without being disturbed by any inappropriate menu items. Everybody co-opts everything. I demand an apology on behalf of all offended Americans.

Try posting your delusions to your twitter account. You'll be shocked sane by the resulting mockery. How many people constitute an "emerging school of thought"? That's not important right now.

C-Dog's incredibly bad advice. 50¢. In which case I mock and berate you and put it all on YouTube. Let me see your credentials again. I warned you.

Oh.

Caption: I'm very offended that you said your friend Clyde is "inarticulate" just 'cause he says "*@#$?*" every other word. You obviously know nothing of the way black people talk. Cuss words are a beautiful expression of black culture. But you mock that 'cause you're a bigot. Are you aware that you're white and I'm black? Why do you ask? No reason. Now lemme explain to you how black people talk.
