Caption: If I am to help you buy the proper fit for your girlfriend, you must tell me about her. She's perfect. Computer Villa. She has shoulder-length brown hair, full lips, loves pets and children. Macs, of course, not PC. And? Pardon? What kind of kisser? Show me. The wisdom of the geeky computer salesman has its price.

Caption: I can't believe blade runner 2049 flopped so hard, Randy. I can, little buddy. It was amazing. It was beautifully done. But it was fifteen thousand hours long. At the 2.5 hour mark, your eye starts to wander. You start thinking about other movies. You think maybe you rushed into this one and you're just settling. Are we still talking about movies? You think of sneaking into a different one.

Caption: Sadie, I just saw that the "great flood" myths are based on reality. You "saw"? On Youtube. It was a video called "The Advanced Pre Ice Age Civilizations that Vanished from Earth." The guy pointed out that the last ice age ended 12,000-ish years ago. And when it ended, huge ice caps that were two miles deep melted and flooded much of the world. And then he laid out a bunch of other evidence having to do with maps and artifacts and something or other. "Something or other"? Well, yeah, at around the 12:57 mark, I sort of tuned out. I've gotten used to taking in information in 9-minute video increments ... 10 max. So this was a personal record. I'm pretty proud of it. You're deliberately trying to push my buttons. I think I'll start watching nine minutes of "Roots" every week till I'm done.

Caption: This morning I found a thin hair growing out of my knuckle. And so it ends. Your virility, your potential, your conviction, your magnetism, your youth itself … all begin to fade into an increasingly distant past as soon as you discover your first hair that's grown in a place where hair isn't supposed to grow ... or so I'm told. It's never happened in my family. "Genetically magnificent," I believe is the technical term. It was like two inches long.

Caption: Boss, FedEx just delivered a crate full of hazmat suits. Excellent. On your lunch break, drape a couple of them over the trash cans outside every café in town. If we're the only café in the township where people HAVEN'T found discarded hazmat suits, then everyone will assume we're the only Ebola-free cafe. I can't do all that in just three minutes. You can have twice as long for your lunch break today.
