Caption: What you just say life is? A parade of air-bursting bolides. When an extremely bright meteor hurtles toward earth, it's a bolide. If it blows up when it enters our atmosphere instead of impacting the surface … that's an airburst. Every opportunity we miss. Every time we narrowly avoid death. Every time we didn't eat a burrito that had just gone bad ... You tellin' me that burrito I snuck from you was old? Some bolides explode elsewhere.

Caption: Football is like investing. It's good to have a diversified portfolio. A team should use a balanced mix of run plays and pass plays. And sometimes the quarterback is smart to accept a sack rather than trying something too risky. Right. Take the small loss and move on. A defensive player getting a finger on a pass can have a big impact. In both football and investing a tip can be a real game changer. But some things are different. Football has nothing like a T-Bill. There are no guaranteed returns in football!

Caption: They're purging voters in how many states? Way more than you'd think. As soon as the Republican Supreme Court ok'd it … every state with a history of discrimination at the polls started purging voters way more than usual. Those states purged millions of voters just before the 2016 election. It disproportionately impacted minorities. But I'm sure that part was just coincidence. I hate sarcasm Mondays.

Caption: Tonight on The Price is Right! Three people compete … to the death. Animal Planet brings you the gruesome mating dance of the preying … CNBC stock analysts, Jane Ponziskeem and Chuck Boughtman. You two both see, to agree the President's tax … Calamity was the most apocalyptic thing that ever happened in the history of the inner solar system. The devastating impact blew much of the earth's crust into orbit. After millions of years, it all coalesced to form ... Disney. The company now owns much of our popular culture. Aside from its catalogue of Disney films, the behemoth now owns the rights to Star Wars, the rights to X-Men, the rights to the Fantastic Four, and the rights to - you're behind. But you can catch up easily! You can get your revenge, with Montezuma energy drink! Side effects may include projectile hurling, incontinence, colorectal warming, and -- Whales! Admiral, there be whales here! Well done, Mister Scott. How soon can we be ready for warp speed?

Caption: What was it you wanted to talk about, minion? Boss, you called me in at 2a.m. to clean out the gutters. We don't have any gutters. Of course we don't have any gutters. I'm confused. When I ordered you to clean out the gutters, it was clearly implied that you're first supposed to install them. Am I supposed to do all your thinking for you, Rudy? This is very disappointing. This will impact your next weekly performance review. Anyway, you'd better get to it. How do you expect the cafe's rooftop garden to properly drain without gutters? We don't have a rooftop garden. Very bad man. How do you expect to placate the green-freaks once we install the oil wells without a rooftop garden.

Caption: Armstrong, did you feel that earthquake a few minutes ago? I felt nothing, minion. I haven't felt an earthquake since I was a small child. Probably because of the full-body money-clip I've carried ever since then. The wads of bills layered about my body serve to absorb vibrational and impact forces. I once fell out of a fourth-story window and didn't even notice it. The one percent are different from you and me.

Caption: I suppose you're wondering why I've called you in to the café at 3am, minion. Too tired to wonder, boss. It's come to my attention that you're underreporting your cash tips by a whopping average of 0.003%. And that's impacting me. The whole reason I'm allowed to pay you less than minimum wage ... is because tips are supposed to make up the difference. When tips fall short, I'm supposed to raise your pay. I think we can both agree that that's an absolutely unthinkable horror of biblical proportions. But I've come up with a plan that I think you'll agree is a win-win solution. You'll give me all your tips, and I'll keep you on as an unpaid intern and consider not turning you in. "Win-win" isn't supposed to mean you win twice!

Caption: I'm sorry my check bounced last week, doc. That was because some Nigerian scammers stole my bank account. Dr. Noodle. I see. And how did that make you feel? Angry, I guess. Angry at them? Or angry at yourself for letting your gullibility impact not only your life, but the lives of people to whom you owe money? I thought these sessions were supposed to be about MY feelings. They are. Let's explore how inconveniencing your therapist makes you feel.

Caption: Gym. Welcome to the gym, guys! Let me show you around. Here we have treadmills and ellipticals for a great cardio workout. This is one of our resistance machines for strength training. These will build and tone your muscles. The rowing machine provides a low-impact workout for both the upper and lower body. Good cardio benefits, too! Any questions about the machines you've seen so far? Just one ... do the candy and soda machines take debit cards, or do we need coins?

Caption: I've switched to e-books but nature has yet to thank me. Thank you for using something that takes 33 pounds of minerals to make. Thank you for increasing energy consumption. Thank you for using something that'll someday seep toxins into the ground water while decomposing in landfills. Nobody likes a sarcastic tree.

Caption: Sadie, you've got a lot of nerve making light of all the concussions suffered by football players. Stow it, meathead. By the way, I heard Eli Manning got a concussion last season. What? What?! Eli? My honeybunch? He of the NFL's greatest rear?! I won't have it. The league must reform! Awesome. I still have the brain power to tell a provocative lie. Get it together NFL, or face my wrath!

Caption: You look exhausted. I stayed up all night watching footage of my old football games. Sadie's right. I found three highlights where I got hit so hard in the head I got carried off the field. What if something happened to me? What if my brain isn't functioning correctly? If someone's brain was fine, he's give me money to buy and Xbox game. I can't even follow that sentence! What's happening.

Cartoonist(s): Darrin Bell
Comic/Cartoon: Rudy Park

Caption: First, I didn't suffer concussions when I played football. Second, I'm not a meathead. Third, how can you joke about football injuries. Joke? I feel bad for you. You're an arrested adolescent, obsessed with picking up chicks, going nowhere in your career. Obviously, that's a result of your head trauma. Your brain's taken more shots than a Tiger Woods car bumper. It's gotten hit on more than a Tiger Woods waitress! That's not joking? Sorry, I thought it would go over your squished head.
