Caption: Why am I here? Well … I've been insecure about something my whole life. Dr. Noodle. You probably can't guess what it is. Everyone's always told me it's just in my head. But still, sometimes I'm so insecure about it, I won't even go outside. Having a big one's normal. Plenty of five-foot tall men have ones that look like they belong on seven-foot tall men. What? I'm talking about my armpit odor. Oh ... um ... Wait ... what are you getting at?

I'd say that means I did go out on top. And I'm about to have the biggest comeback there is. I was thinking more like something I could download on my iPod.

Caption: We need voter to show ID because voter fraud is a huge problem! Every so often, people get caught trying to vote even though they're felons, illegals, dead, don't live at their registered address, or they already voted. What does that tell you? It tells me they get caught, so the system works well enough. You're not supposed to answer rhetorical questions.

Caption: Obama is Ralph Ellison's "Invisible Man" incarnate. He grins and says "Yes, sir" and "Yes, ma'am." And while we're all focused on his huge, dramatic cave-ins over here ... he's accomplishing all sorts of little things over there. Cool, cool. Problem is, people don't vote for invisible men. People are too busy living their lives to pay attention to all the ... Are you still talking?

Caption: Confirmation bias. Huh? It's where a person decides something to be true … … And then they look only for examples that prove they're right, and ignore all the ones that show they may be wrong. Like, for instance, someone who decides a politician is awful will dwell on his failures - no matter how tiny they may be - and ignore or marginalize his accomplishments, no matter how huge they are. What's this have to do with you being a big-ass nerd? You're ignoring my vintage Tupac collection. Don't nobody but a nerd say "vintage."

Caption: The only time people come together is when there's a huge calamity. 9/11. The tsunamis. The Haiti quake … When that stuff happens, the artificial constructs we use to divide ourselves - race, class, ideology - it all evaporates and we become one family. Why does it always take tragedy for us to behave like a family? My uncle stole my mom life savings, her car and her shoes. Don't ask about the shoes. Good talk, Clyde.

Yes, I brought you an angry glare and a friend who can't believe even you could be that selfish at a time like this. Well I hope you saved the receipt, so I can exchange that @#$%.

Caption: I'm tired of people saying that Republicans are being heartless when they try to strip labor unions of the right to collectively bargain. States are facing huge budget deficits caused by their need to provide expensive vital services, coupled with billions of dollars of tax giveaways to corporations and low property taxes. Sure, labor unions seem to agree that their members have to take pay cuts and contribute more to their retirement and health-care plans, but ... they don't want to give up their right to demand safe working conditions and whatnot. Do you know how expensive it is to provide safe working conditions? Less expensive than treating cancer? A little asbestos never hurt anyone.

Caption: There's always this huge gap. You sit there at your most vulnerable moment and all you can think about … … Is that at any second, someone's going to get curious. But here, it's like they hermetically seal the stalls from floor to ceiling. Well, MY favorite part of Mexico is the stunning scenery. To each his own.

Caption: So I was walking toward the Hawaiian barbecue place, when I saw this huge group ahead of me. I was angry. I knew I'd have to wait 20 minutes before I could even order. But just then, they all stopped outside the door, got in a circle, and started praying. Naturally, I shoved my way through, got in ahead of them, and was in an' out in five minutes. Hold up. If you say this proved God exists, you're going to hell. ...I wasn't going to say that. I don't know that guy, God.
