Nelson, sometimes I worry that you're living a childhood that's way too soft. When I was growing up, we didn't have all the toys and comforts that you have. Times were lean, we were poor, and so we learned that suffering was part of life. Gramma makes me eat Jell-O with shredded carrots in it.
As a general rule, Nelson, life is hard. But every now and then we get to see the beauty of God's creations. And for just a moment life is beautiful. And then life is hard again.
