Caption: Thanks for recycling. Pardon? I'm being sarcastic. You tossed your cup into the trash rather than the recycling bin. Very thoughtful. The less we recycle, the more of the earth's resources we use, and the greater change my natural habitat will be destroyed. Though, technically, I came from a test tube, but you get my point. So totally lost.

Caption: You heard earth's just entered its sixth great extinction event? Really? Vertebrate species are dying at a rate not seen since the dinosaurs dies off. This time it's thanks to us. But the good thing is, scientists think humans will die off pretty early in this mass extinction. How's that a good thing? We won't be around to hear the other animals say "I told you so."

Caption: I'm tired of people complaining about how the coral reefs have pretty much died off. I mean yeah, a huge variety of fish and other sealife rely on the coral reefs. And yeah, about 500 million people in turn depend on that sealife for food, jobs and recreation. But it's not mankind's fault those sea creatures decided to sponge off the hard work of the polyps that made all the coral. Wait ... what? ... and it's not our fault that 500 million people didn't think ahead and get real jobs instead of sponging off welfare fish. Besides, marine habitats are something better left to private industry. If the fish really want vast expanses of underwater limestone shelters, let them buy it on the free market like the rest of us. Besides, I was just wasting my time with all those snorkeling vacations. I should've been working. You're just trying to make yourself feel better. Newsweak.

Caption: F&E Wildlife Documentary Filmmakers. Ernie, you shouldn't have chosen "Bye Bye Birdie" as music for the documentary on avian extinctions. And using Vanilla Ice's "Ice Ice Baby" in the film about disappearing polar bear habitat was also inappropriate! This is serious stuff! Our next project is about dwindling bee populations. Without bees all plant life is threatened, endangering humanity itself! You're right, Frenak, for the bee film we should use the song "Where have all the flowers gone?". Now that's a nice choice, Ernie!

Caption: They just discovered an earthlike planet, and it's close. "Earthlike"? It's in Proxima Centauri's habitable zone. Does it have oceans and beaches and sensual ladies who like to gaze at sunsets? It may have liquid water. And it's orbiting a red dwarf, so it'll always look like sunset. HOJ. But is there anyone there to whisper sweet nothings to? I know a guy at NASA. If they send a probe, maybe he could add your dating profile.

Caption: An MIT study shows "Mars One" colonists would suffocate, starve and be incinerated. I don't get it. We've been keeping people alive on the space station for months at a time, for decades. What makes us think we can't keep them alive on Mars? For that matter, why don't we have cities on the moon by now? We can do it. Mankind is the most underachieving species in the history of all species. Nah, dawg. Dolphins be lazy, bruh.
