Caption: You know why politics is boring? Are. What? It's "politics are," not "politics is." No it isn't. "Politics" is the name of the field. It's like saying "mathematics," or "gymnastics." It's singular, not plural. But everyone has her own politics. People don't have their own mathematics. This must be what it's like talking to me.
