If the government were a household that spent more than it took in, the parents would do the ONLY THING they could and cut back on unnecessary expenses. Caption: When the President refused to exted the Bush tax cuts, he explained why and that made sense to me. Dr. Noodle. But then when he extend them, I was confused. When the President insisted on a public option for health care, he explained why and that made sense to me. But then he abandoned the public option. I was confused. When the President insisted that the very rich, not just the poor, have to sacrifice to help balance the budget, that made sense to me. But then he signed a bill that didn't ask the very rich to pay even a single cent more in taxes. And you're confused. Not anymore. I miss being confused.

Caption: I'm tired of people blaming big business for this awful recession. It's not the banks' fault that people accepted ridiculous loans the banks offered them. And I'm tired of people whining about how the banks got billions in bailout money but the people got next to nothing. We "the people" didn't fight a revolution to rob the multinational corporations of their right to give us all the shaft. Yes we did. Google "East India Company." Can't. Bank repossessed my computer.

Caption: What're you reading, kid? The constitution. Teacher gave it to me. "We the shareholders of the United States in order to form a more perfect market, establish order, insure domestic tranquility for Iraq, provide for the common defense of Iraq while going deep into debt, promote the corporate welfare and secure the blessings of liberty to other countries and their posterity, do ordain and establish this neoconstitution for the United Energy Companies of America. You don't go to public school, do you? Did the Bill of Rights always have an asterisk next to it?
