Caption: I'm thinking of voting for Bernie Sanders, but I have no idea why. I know why, little buddy. Socialist. Old man. Gray, frizzy hair. Gets grumpy when people aren't listening to him. Not following. Think … Doesn't all that remind you of someone you know and love? How can you just sit there sipping coffee while billionaire oligarchs are buying our elections?!

Caption: So I assume this is where TJ invested his 60 thousand? Yes. It helped us get the bank loan. Luann says you want me to move into Brad's old room? Luann says wrong. There's a problem with the space between her room and Brad's. There isn't enough of it?

Caption: I need to get me a new pocketknife. I dropped my old one in the lake. I want to get one just like my old one, but I haven't been able to find one. I'll bet you could find one on Amazon. Really? Do we have one of their catalogs?

Caption: My gmail account is full. I can't get any more email. You can't? I'll miss email. It was so old-timey. You could write hundreds or even thousands of words, with actual paragraphs. People didn't see any little animations to show them you were typing. They had to actually wonder if and when you were going to reply. And the spam was fun. You never get to hear from Nigerian princes while you're checking your texts. Just delete stuff. If you delete a few gigs of old emails, you'll be able to get new emails again. I can't do that. Those emails are the chronicle of my life between 2004 and 2015. When future historians want to see what Rudy Park was saying and experiencing in his prime, this archive will be priceless. I must preserve my emails, much as millennia of sediment preserved the dinosaurs. The Rudysaurus Rex was a dimwitted, slow-moving species. Driven extinct by its lack of dating skills.

205. Comic Strip Darrin Bell Candorville 2015-06-30 get old
Cartoonist(s): Darrin Bell
Comic/Cartoon: Candorville

Caption: An 11-year-old boy was playing in his yard for 90 minutes after the school bus dropped him off … because his parents were stuck in traffic and couldn't get home to let him in. They were thrown in jail, charged with a felony, and their kids were taken away. When you have for-profit prisons, there's a lot of incentive to fill them by any means necessary. I still say if your son's never had a peanut butter sandwich, go ahead and make him one. If he turns out to have an allergy, they'd probably charge me with attempted murder.

Yeah we are in great political turmoil right now, but I will let you in on a secret since we are old friends. Now is the best time for to invest in the Ukraine real estate. In 2005, for inspect, a 71 sq. meter abode sold for $7,500 US Dollars. Today it sell for at only $1,100 US Dollars. Lovely school for to nearby, as well as charming Mall within walking distance with has all the conveniences. Keep this amazing opportunity quiet. I only tell YOU because of that time we made that amazing connection. Your friend, Timona. Click here for to house buy. Excellent question. I get letters like this all the time ever since I publicly announced my email address. It reminds me of the time I hired a 17-year-old nerd to track down a spammer's true IP address, name, birthdate, physical address, and bank account number ... and shipped the spammer two tons of manure purchased with his entire life savings. It cost me a vinyl record, a Mountain Dew and a crate of Cheetos, but it was worth it. Ask Sadie a question (but be careful) at asksadie@rudypark.com

Caption: Remember how you advised me to get a dangerous hobby to build up my self-esteem and impress people? Well, all the dangerous hobbies were already taken. You wrestle alligators … Armstrong skis down a pile of his money … without a helmet. Even that ancient hag Sadie has a dangerous hobby. Every year, in violation of both common sense and local fire safety ordinances, the old lady lights all the candles on her birthday cake. I HEARD THAT!!! Fun fact: The 20th century was one of the most brutal in history. I witnessed most of it. AND I TOOK NOTES!! I've taken up "Sadie-taunting." You'd be better off with the alligators.

Caption: OK, I have to admit, that was a really good film. What was your favorite part? Avengers. My favorite part was seeing Elizabeth Olsen play the Scarlet Witch. I remember when she was the baby on "Full House." So not only did I get to feel incredibly old, I also got to be distracted by the image of "Uncle Jessie" singing to her that kept running through my head. She wasn't on "Full House." Those were her older twin sisters. Avengers. Well then they should've put "she wasn't on' Full House'" on the posters.

Caption: For as long as I can remember, I've been on a safe, steady path. Then all of a sudden, I made a wild detour to Peru with Rosa. Now I'm back on my original path. But … it just feels wrong, like it's going nowhere. I keep doing the old things, but … should I be doing NEW things? I think you gotta get up off your rut.

Caption: What's got you down, Gunth? Is this about Rosa? No, I've let go. I know we always had different paths … I'm just … full of questions. Like, who AM I? Am I still who I was? Am I a new me trudging the path of the old me? And where does that path go? Where should it go? Should I stay on the path? Where am I going? Why am I going there?? I can see why you're down. You're under four tons of questions marks.

Caption: Anyone who thinks we ever really went to the moon is a complete idiot. Youtube has tons of videos on this. Humans couldn't possibly have survived a trip through the Van Allen Radiation Belt. That's proof it was all a conspiracy. Not true. According to Dr. Van Allen himself, the notion that radiation should've killed those astronauts is "nonsense." Well how come we can't see the astronauts' footprints? That's proof it was all a conspiracy. Not true. Other countries have snapped pictures of the landing sites, and just a few years ago the lunar reconnaissance orbiter took photos of the footprints. There were no stars in the old films. That's proof it was all a conspiracy. The exposure settings were calibrated to get good shots of the extremely bright lunar surface. They couldn't do that and capture the relatively dim stars at the same time. You moon-landing-ists have an answer for everything. That's proof it was all a conspiracy. Thousands of people could never keep a secret that big for 46 years! That's what they want you to think.

Caption: Ask Sadie. Dear Sadie, My mother doesn't want me to get a tattoo, but I disagree. I believe that a tattoo would be very attractive. What do you think? - Jessica, rebellious daughter. *(Actual reader letter). Is this serious? Is this a real letter? They're all real. I am stunned. Stunned? What is wrong with children? Defying their mothers? Do you know what would happen if we had defied our parents like that? What? They'd have sent us to live in the old country with our illiterate cousins who left us to sleep in the barn and eat only hay. Seriously? Sure. It's what happened to me when I was 14 and got my first tattoo. But ... Jessica, get a tattoo of my face! So confused. Get yer mixed messages by writing rudy@rudypark.com.

Caption: I just watched "Rescue from Gilligan's Island" on Youtube. After all those years, they finally made it home and were welcomed as heroes. Then they went their own separate ways and tried to resume their lives. Only they realized their journey had changed them so much they no longer fit into their old lives, so they got back together and sailed off into the unknown. It's been 14 years. You really need to get over it. Even Gilligan's Island had a better ending that Star Trek: Voyager.
