Caption: You can talk to a dog until you're blue in the face, but he won't understand any of it. Oh, a dog can be taught the meanings of a few words, but his understanding of language is very limited. But dogs are experts at reading human body language and facial expressions. For example, when I look at Roscoe like this, he knows I want him to bring me the newspaper. However, just because he knows, doesn't mean he cares.

Caption: It's like this… Dogs look at the world in terms of "always" or "never." There's no "occasionally" with dogs. In their minds, they can either do something always or never.
