Caption: Dog Park. Ernie, let me help you navigate the dog park safely. Thanks. Never ask the dalmatian if you can play "Connect the Dots." Don't discuss international politics with the Siberian Husky, or make jokes around the Greyhound. The Saint Bernard does not find it funny if you ask for his blessing. And most importantly, unless you schedule is clear for a week ... yeah? Don't say "yes" when the Lab asks you to play with that ball with him!

The carbon dioxide is complaining about the negative press coverage its getting, and the chlorophyll is pushing a green agenda. The individual atom candidates are receiving lots of attention --- their truthfulness is being questioned. Voters must have heard that "atoms make up everything"!

Caption: I'm here with movie expert, Mister Flick, to discuss monsters who are actors. Let's start with Jekyll and Hyde. He does some good work and some bad work. Who picks scripts well? Dracula finds roles he can really sink his teeth into. Frankenstein, on the other hand, will take just about any part! What about King Kong's career? It was brief but he did climb to the top! And some critics think the Invisible Man is among the best. I agree with that ... but he only does low-budget indie films, so nobody ever sees him!

Caption: It's December, and time for us to discuss the top films of the year. Today we look at documentaries. There were a couple films about our food supply. One investigated the poultry industry. As expected it's a chick flick. Another looked at the dried fruit business. It's a date movie. A film chronicling the construction of a skyscraper is enthralling. Riveting! And the biggest surprise was a film about a prison break -- We found it to be fun entertainment! It's pure escapism!

Caption: Tabloid Times. Ernie, what's your headline for our piece about the great grandma who is looking forward to her family reunion this weekend? 80-Year Old Expecting. What about the article reporting on the windows broken by vandals at the capitol? "Senators Meet to Discuss Draft." And the caption for the photo of the mayor drinking a cola on the golf course? "Mayor Caught Drinking and Driving." Ernie! Knock if off with the misleading sensationalist headlines! If you do, you can have the unclaimed diamond ring in our lost and found department. "Assistant Editor Must Choose Between the Carat and the Schtick!"

Caption: Frank and Ernie's Political Shoe Store. Ernie, the key to success in this business is giving customers the right shoes for their needs. What would you suggest for a guy who just announced his candidacy? Running shoes, of course. Good. How about the policy wonk who loves discussing the issues? Platforms! The politician who loves to spin? Ballet slippers would be perfect. And what about somebody who is always changing positions? Flip flops. That leaves pollsters --- I never know what to recommend. That's easy, Frank. Anything canvas!

Caption: Academy Awards. In honor of the Oscars, today we'll discuss classic movies with film scholar, Dr. Ernie. What did you think of "The Deer Hunter", Dr. Ernie? It should never have been shot. "The Apartment" won multiple Academy Awards, yet many people have never seen it. Should they get the video? Do not rent "The Apartment"! .... And "The Bridge on the River Kwai" ...? It started okay, but then it didn't hold up. How about "From Here to Eternity"? ... It won eight Oscars! I thought that movie would never end! Ernie, we haven't found a "best picture" film you like! Can you say anything good about non-winners? Well, Hitchcock's "North by Northwest" had great direction and I was crazy about "Psycho"!

Caption: Today I'm visiting Ernie von Flick, famous documentary film maker, to discuss his work. Your first film was about HMO cost-cutting. What was it called? "Dr. Do Little". And the documentary about the city zoo's endangered species center? "Animal House". What was your movie about privatization of social security? "Gone With The Wind". What's next for you, Ernie Actually, I'm working on a film about your social life, Frank. I'm flattered! What's it called, "Saturday Night Fever"? No. "Home Alone".

I can believe it, Ernie.
