When Gerald Ford died, the media spoke of his pardoning Nixon as "healing" instead of as Ford saying presidents are above the law. Yeh, an' when James Brown died, almost no one mentioned his troubles wit' the law. What have you done, Clyde/ Someday it won't matter, Dawg.

Hollywood didn't bombard us with a million lame reality shows. Thousands of Americans did not die an a natural disaster due to an inadequate government response. Clyde only stole my computer twice. I'd say I got more than I'd expected for Christmas. It helps to set the bar low.

Caption: I'm re-thinking my whole business plan, Susan. Selling fake Botox outta my trenchcoat in that alley over there may not be the best idea. You mean because of all those reports about people dying after using fake Botox? I mean because that alley over there gets much more foot traffic.

Caption: And the good book says "Blessed are the poor, for yours is the kingdom of God." Luke 6:20. But more blessed are the rich, for theirs is everything else. "Blessed are the meek, for they will inherit the land." Matthew 5:5. But more blesses are the bold, for they will show the rest of the world who's boss. "Blessed are the merciful, for they will be shown mercy." But more blessed are the merciless, for they will kill ten Iraqi civilians for every one American who died on 9-11. I liked Reverend Wilfred better before he accepted that "faith-based initiative" money from the White House. Blessed are hose who spy on our e-mails and our phone calls.....

Caption: I'm tired of liberals bashing Bush for every little thing. Take the coal miners who died, for instance. Just because Bush, adjusting for inflation, cut funding for the mine safety and health administration by $4.9 million and just 'cause those cuts resulted in the loss of 170 jobs at MSHA and just because Bush cut funding for programs aimed at mitigating entrapment deaths some loony liberals think he was somehow partly to blame for what happened.
