I like your Christmas tree, gramma. Did you know Christmas trees have a lot of symbolism? For example, it's an evergreen which represents rebirth and eternal life. The Christmas lights tell us that Christ is the light of the world. What does grampa's hairpiece on top of the tree tell us? I tells us that grampa has a weird sense of humor.

Hey, remember our very first Christmas tree? The tree guy let us have it for 75 cents because it was half-dead. On the way home, we bought a string of lights and a few ornaments at a thrift store. The whole thing cost us about a buck-fifty, but we loved that little tree. Honey, if you're upset that I spent $37 on this ornament, just say so. |

As near as I can figure it, our aluminum synthetic Christmas tree was too close to the artificial fire in our electric fireplace and it short-circuited the fluorescent light in the simulated candle in our fold-out nativity scene. |
