Caption: What'd you mean when you called it the Republican Supreme Court? They're not all Republicans. Ever since the Republicans voted as a bloc in 2000 to end the recount and make Bush president … and with all the 5 to 4 votes … it's become increasingly clear that the court is a political body, just like Congress. There's no point in pretending it's still some unbiased arbiter of justice. Nothing's legitimate anymore. This is just like the last days of Rome.

Caption: Whachoo think of Hillary Clinton, bruh? I think she's not Donald Trump. George W. Bush was not Donald Trump, either. You know who else wasn't Donald Trump? Herbert Hoover wasn't Donald Trump. The best thing about Trump is, he's helped me realize there've been an awful lot of Americans who haven't appealed to our baser instincts. By comparison, I now respect a lot more people than I used to. And that makes me happy. But whachoo think of Hillary Clinton? Justin Bieber is no Donald Trump.

Caption: You know what the history books don't tell you? They don't tell you about any big conspiracy theories. We know our era's big theories: The CIA shot Kennedy … We faked the moon landing … Bush caused 9/11 … Don't you ever wonder what the big conspiracy theories were centuries ago? No. What if the ancients thought the burning of the library of Alexandria was an insurance scam?

Caption: Nobody could've known, back in 2003, that invading Iraq would be a bad idea. What're you talking about? Millions of people knew it. Millions of us. Millions of us said the reasons the Bush administration gave for invading sounded like flimsy nonsense. Not having WMDs was Saddam's plot to embarrass us. Daily Nutjob. Obama wet bed as child, covered it up. Goodnight Grandpa. Millions of us said it would cause a lot of unnecessary death, totally wreck the balance of power, cost us money we couldn't afford, create new enemies, and be a huge unmitigated disaster. It was entirely possible to know. Millions of us knew. General: Iraq would be stable if we had occupied it for only 75 more years. Well, nobody knew the people who knew were right to know what they knew. You know? No. ISIS destroys ancient ruins, erect statue of founding father Dick Cheney.

Caption: Ima Buvitall@imabuvitall. Obama is just as bad as Bush. Valid opinion. Ima Buvitall@imabuvitall. Both let Wall Street criminals go. Both bombed foreign countries. Both spied on Americans. Valid point. Ima Buvitall@imabuvitall. They're both direct descendants of Samuel Hinckley, who founded the Massachusetts franchise of the Illuminati in 1648. The trick is knowing when to put the phone down.

Caption: Obama's a war criminal. All the bombings and the drones and such … It didn’t bother you when Bush's wars killed a lot more people. Obama's a tyrant. All the spying and the prosecuting leakers and such … All Bush's snooping didn’t bother you one bit. Obama's lazy. He's always on vacation and golfing and such ... Bush took far more vacations. Didn't bother you at all, I recall. I suppose you're implying I only care now because Obama's black. That makes you a racist. Oh man, not the "race card" card.

But since the TV age, the shortest one was Truman, at 5'9". Reagan was 6'1". Bush Sr. and Clinton were 6'2". Obama is 6'1". Even W. was inch shy of 6'. I know all this for no particular reason. Caption: 2000. Bush's Florida campaign chairwoman wrongly purged thousands of blacks from the voter rolls. You need more proof than that to say Republicans stole the election. Bush Wins. 2004. Electronic voting machines kept registering "Kerry" votes as "Bush" votes. You need more proof that that to say Republicans stole the election. 2012. A study shows there've only been ten cases of in-person voter fraud since 2000. PROOF DEMOCRATS ARE STEALING ELECTIONS!!!

Caption: Long time no see, Bruh. Ain't been much work out there for a brutha. But I'M BACK! *@$%! I got a new gig with fear Inc. Mostly based on the work I did making out last president sound reasonable and clear-thinking. Some People. They were particularly impressed with how I'd say "If you're Muslim, you can't be free," so then the president could say "I disagree with that" and start wars and whatnot. They said not every strawman is capable of that kind of subtlety. Some People. Good for you. I got a whole new repertoire. Check this out: "We need to punish success." Some People. That's not subtle at all. How 'bout "Let's just hand the country over to illegals"? Some People.

Caption: When the President refused to exted the Bush tax cuts, he explained why and that made sense to me. Dr. Noodle. But then when he extend them, I was confused. When the President insisted on a public option for health care, he explained why and that made sense to me. But then he abandoned the public option. I was confused. When the President insisted that the very rich, not just the poor, have to sacrifice to help balance the budget, that made sense to me. But then he signed a bill that didn't ask the very rich to pay even a single cent more in taxes. And you're confused. Not anymore. I miss being confused.

Caption: What do you see, Murph? Nothing new. Some of them are reading a newspaper. Some of them are online. Still, I don't think they know anything. What's to know, really? That we're still monitoring them, just as much as we did under Bush. That we've grown so large we've got hundreds of departments and agencies operating out of 1,300 facilities all over the country. That the number of Americans with "top secret" clearance is approaching 1 million. That we've become an unaccountable leech on the treasury that few leaders have the guts to defund, so instead they pretend all that money is being stolen by teachers, nurses, cops, janitors, firefighters and little kids in "head start." They don't seem all that curious. Like I said ... nothing new.

Caption: Hello UPS-guy, you've reached Lemont Brown in apartment 3B. I'm not here at the moment … … because I'm downstairs in the bushes holding a big net. I'm waiting for you to buzz my apartment just once before leaving a "sorry we missed you" slip and trying to take off before I have a chance to answer. At the sound of the beep, turn around 'cause I'm standing right behind you.

Caption: 2011. Civil libertarians are upset at how often President Obama has asserted the "state secrets privilege." Some things should be secret, but still it goes to show how this president is way too secretive. That's proof he's subverting our democracy. You're just being paranoid. 2008. Caption: Before Hurricane Katrina, half the country thought Bush knew what he was doing with Iraq, the economy, etc … almost as if he were as infallible as God. But his inept response to Katrina showed everyone he was only human. Hurricane Katrina was as if the whole country had caught a god breaking wind. Tap. Tap. Is this thing on?

Caption: VH1 presents Where are They Now? The Some People Story. It was the mid-2000's. Politicians across the country relied on him. There wasn't a press conference around that didn't broadcast his beaming smile. I sound wise compared to him. And for one brief fearmongering season, the strawman called "some people" was at the top of his game. I've forgotten 9-11. I want to hug terrorists. But as often happens in the cutthroat false argument business, his star began to dim. I want to take your guns. Yawn. And it sent him on a downward spiral. He came into the bar already drunk, talkin' 'bout nobody's scared of him no more and no one takes 'im seriously. Bartender. ... an' I was like "bruh, you're bringin' down the whole room." Very bad tipper, too. But then, in his darkest hour, some people makes a surprising comeback. AFTER THESE MESSAGES...
