The nucleus is playing center, but he's been stopped by the defense of the bad cholesterol, who's clogging up the middle! The flu vaccine is the leading scorer. He never passes up a shot! Now the double-x chromosomes are asking the coach to put him in. Of course, the biological clock is running out!

Caption: Ernie, how are you getting along with your basketball coach this season? Fabulous! He must want me well-rested for the playoffs, because I hardly play at all now. And he must think I'm a great passer, because he's always telling me not to shoot! And he must think I have all the plays down pat because he just told me not to show up for practice anymore ... Yes, he obviously thinks I'm the strongest player on the team because it's my job to carry the other players' luggage!

Caption: Look, Ernie, there's the results from your basketball game! Hey! It says you hit the Ref with the ball three times! Sure, those were bank shots! You took eight jumpshots and they all missed everything! Not true! four of them hit spectators in the mezzanine! And you dribbled the ball off your ankle.. Coach said he wanted to see my footwork. But this is encouraging... You did have a game-high nine rjections! When did they occur? Each time I asked coach to put me back in.
