Caption: I think it was very compassionate of you to adopt a deaf dog, Emily. A lot of people wouldn't want to give a home to a dog that can't hear. Well, there are some negatives. He wouldn't make a good watch dog, for example. On the plus side, you can sneak into the house with an armload of groceries and unload them before he knews you're home.

Caption: What if history had turned out differently? I've often wondered the same thing. What if the nuclear tests had happened at a different Marshall Island, other than Bikini Atoll? The bikini could've very well been called "the Rongerik." or "the Enewetak." or "the Rongelap." The possible perturbations boggle the mind. I meant something more important. ... Like how if Nintendo had adopted compact discs, the Playstation never would've happened.
